At Kwiat, our promise is to continually re-imagine all that can be done with diamonds. In keeping with this rich tradition of innovation, we introduce our first jewelry designs made by combining two of the most enduring materials: diamonds and fine ceramic. Much like diamonds, fine ceramic made from zirconia is exceptionally durable. Kwiat fine ceramic is the highest quality available and achieves a superior luster that never fades. Smooth, sensual and exquisite – this material is as pleasing to the hand as it is to the eye.

This is the most popular of the diamond shapes. More than 100 years of research tells us that there is none more brilliant than a 57-facet round diamond. Kwiat Tiara® round diamonds appear bigger, brighter and more beautiful than all other round brilliants.
The marquise is a Kwiat signature and a favorite of the company’s founder, Sam Kwiat. It is known for its versatility. It is a brilliant cut diamond with pointed ends, and its unique shape can make it look much larger than its actual carat weight.Worn in the traditional “North/South” orientation, its length has an elongating and slimming effect on the finger. In the less traditional “East/West” orientation you can achieve a very modern look.
Of all the diamond cuts, the cushion varies the most in its interpretation, but generally has a square or rectangular outline with soft, rounded corners. Modern cushions are faceted to have a more brilliant appearance and lower depth percentage. Antique-cut cushions have a more subdued appearance with a large crown and greater depth percentage.
This distinctive and elegant diamond has a step-cut faceting pattern and a rectangular, cut-corner shape. Its brilliance is more mirror-like and understated than that of a round stone. The emerald cut’s large table provides a window into the heart of the diamond, making clarity an important factor in selecting a stone. Well-made emerald cuts have a total depth percentage ranging from 60% to 71%.
The radiant is a square to rectangle shape with cut corners and a brilliant faceting pattern. It combines the brilliance of the round with the elegance of the emerald cut. Well-made radiants have total depth percentages ranging from 60% to 72%. Many fancy colored diamonds are fashioned with this shape and cut because of the way they reflect color.
Because an oval diamond is faceted in a similar way to a round brilliant, it provides a similar fire and brilliance, but with a unique shape. Its proportions can also create the illusion of greater size while elongating and slimming the finger. Depth percentages range from 55% to 65%.
This brilliant-cut stone is sometimes referred to as a teardrop. It is commonly used in drop earrings and necklaces. In solitaire rings, it can have a subtle elongating effect on the finger.
The faceted step-cut pattern of this square stone is similar to the emerald cut, but more brilliant. When you look down through the table, the Asscher will appear to have concentric squares. When well made, they have a total depth percentage ranging from 65% to 71%.
This square shape with pointed corners is faceted to create the brilliance of a round diamond. Because a princess cut preserves more of the rough stone, it tends to cost slightly less per carat, and the dimensions of its pavilion create the illusion of greater size. Well-made princess diamonds have larger tables and depth percentages of 65% to 72%.
A sentimental choice for the true romantic, the heart shape diamond is a modified brilliant cut. Traditional heart shapes have a length-to-width ratio ranging from .90 to 1.10.
